2023 Way Out West Fest set for October 7th at Southwest University Park

El Paso, Texas – April 17, 2023: The 2023 Way Out West Fest date is set! El Paso’s annual Country Music Festival will take place Saturday, October 7th at Southwest University Park. The one-of-a-kind Honky-Tonk Fiesta includes live country music, a Chili Challenge, interactive vendor displays, retail booths, and the quest for the best Margarita contest!
Coming off a sold-out event in 2022, and now in its seventh year, Way Out West (WOW) Fest has featured some of country music’s top artists such as Jon Pardi, Cody Johnson, Midland, Jake Owen, Lee Brice, Clay Walker, Parmalee, Randall King, Tyler Booth, Brandy Clark, and Travis Denning.
“WOW Fest connects people that have a shared love for live music,” said Gina Roe-Davis, owner of Rave Marketing & Events, “but for many, it’s about the overall experience. Way Out West is a great place to let loose for a couple of hours, leave your troubles at the door, and have an amazing time.”
Roe-Davis continued, “Our job is to leave them coming back for more year after year.”
Way Out West Fest tickets will go on sale Wednesday, April 19th, and event organizers encourage fans to buy early to get the best prices available.
“This year Way Out West fans can buy tickets before we announce the headlining artist,” stated Alan Ledford, President of MountainStar Sports Group. “Buying early will give fans access to tickets at the lowest prices but for a limited time only. This is also the best time to buy certain ticket levels that sell out fast.”
Starting at 8 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time, Wednesday, April 19th, event goers can purchase tickets online at epwayoutwest.com and southwestuniversitypark.com. Beginning at 10 a.m., tickets will be available at the Southwest University Park Durango Box Office. The box office is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
The headlining artist will be announced in early May followed by the opening acts throughout the summer.
