Minors: Ryan Weathers strong in first Triple-A start
Ryan Weathers, who was recently optioned to the El Paso Chihuahuas from San Diego, threw five shutout innings in his first Triple-A game on Saturday. Weathers is only 21 years old and pitched in 14 Padres games earlier this season. (Jeff Sanders, San Diego Union-Tribune, 6/20/2021)

El Paso Locomotive Claims 2-1 Victory over Real Monarchs
On Friday, Locomotive came away with three points following its road trip to Utah against Real Monarchs. Aaron Gomez scored within the first minute of the game while Macca King doubled the lead in the 70th minute to secure the win and continue the Locomotive undefeated streak.

Locomotive Moves to 18 Games Undefeated in Regular Season
Starting with the 4-2 win over Colorado Springs in August 2020, El Paso Locomotive is now 18 games undefeated (12-0-6) in the USL Championship regular season. The streak contributes to the Locomotive undefeated streak in 2021 as the last remaining team to be unbeaten after seven games (4-0-3).

Next Locomotive Home Match Set for July 3 against New Mexico United
After El Paso takes on Rio Grande Valley FC on June 30 away from home, it will return to Southwest University Park for a July 4th celebration in a game against its heated rival, New Mexico United. A post-game fireworks show will close out the celebration. Tickets are still available online at eplocomotivefc.com/tickets or by calling 915.235.GOAL.

Nitro Circus will bring the high-flying You Got This tour to El Paso for a Saturday, October 23rd show at Southwest University Park. Champion BMX and scooter rider Ryan Williams, as well as skilled professionals in freestyle motocross (FMX), skate and more, brave the world’s largest jumps.
 
American Country singer/songwriter, Cody Johnson, will headline the Fifth Annual Way Out West Country Music Festival (WOW Fest) to be held on Saturday, October 2nd at Southwest University Park.
