Midfielder Richie Ryan Re-Signs for El Paso Locomotive Ahead of 2021 Season
Richie Ryan re-signed for a third season with El Paso Locomotive FC after two successful seasons that saw the club reach back-to-back appearances in the Western Conference Final. Since signing with Locomotive, the veteran Irish midfielder has aided the Sun City club with a level of leadership that few bring to the table, pulling the strings from the defensive midfield and converting penalties shots in key moments.

El Paso Native Midfielder Louis ‘Chapa’ Herrera Returns for Locomotive in 2021 Season
El Paso Locomotive announced the return of El Paso native Chapa Herrera for a third season. Chapa, who began his professional career with Locomotive FC, has continued to grow and improve throughout his first two seasons. Finding a regular spot in the starting lineup, Chapa found his first two professional goals against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC during the 4-2 win.

Locomotive Goalkeeper Logan Ketterer Re-Signs Ahead of 2021 USL Championship Season
The man between the pipes for Locomotive returns for a third seasons after helping lift the El Paso club to two straight Western Conference Final appearances. One of the best goalkeepers in the league, Ketterer improved on his impressive 2019 stats by topping the league in shutouts with eight in the 2020 condensed season.

Former Chihuahuas Outfielder and PCL MVP Signs with Boston Red Sox
Hunter Renfroe, who played in 178 games for the El Paso Chihuahuas from 2015-2018, signed a one-year, $3.1 million contract with the Boston Red Sox last week. Renfroe spent parts of the 2016-2019 seasons in the majors with the San Diego Padres and played last season with the American League-champion Tampa Bay Rays. (MLB.com, 12/14/2020)
