EL PASO – March 23, 2022 – Professional football players and El Paso natives Aaron Jones and Alvin Jones Jr. today announced a date change for their A&A All The Way Foundation’s upcoming Charity Softball Game. The family-friendly event, which was originally scheduled for April 19, 2022, will now take place on Friday, June 24, 2022, at Southwest University Park.

The Green Bay Packers recently announced that they would be moving up offseason workouts, which coincides with the day of the Charity Softball Game. To ensure Aaron Jones, who is a running back for the Green Bay Packers, and more of his NFL teammates can participate in the softball game, the A&A All The Way Foundation decided to change the date of the game.

“We just wanted to make sure we could bring all our guys in and make it fun for the community,” said Aaron Jones about the date change.

The foundation plans to announce the players on Team Aaron vs. Team Alvin soon. Team rosters will include the Jones brothers’ current and former teammates, local celebrities and first responders.

All tickets for the previous event date of April 19, 2022 will now be valid for the June 24, 2022 date. Any tickets that have been previously printed or downloaded to a digital wallet with the April 19 date are also still valid. If you are unable to attend the new date, call 915-533-BASE to request a full refund.

Proceeds from the event will support A&A All The Way Foundation’s community programs focused on youth recreation and fitness, children’s basic needs and military families.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. on June 24. A home run derby begins at 6:30 p.m. and the start of the softball game is to follow at 7:30 p.m. There also will be the in-game giveaways, a silent auction, raffle, merchandise and more.

Tickets are on sale online at www.aaalltheway.org/aa-charity-softball-game.
