HOMERUN FOR THE HOMELESS 5K RUN/FUN WALK, presented by Marathon & KIDS DASH, presented by GEPAR

All money raised will help the Opportunity Center for the Homeless to enhance the lives of homeless veterans seeking services in the shelters and Veteran’s Transitional Living Center.

The Opportunity Center for the Homeless is a 501(c)(3) organization and your sponsorship is 100% IRS tax-deductible.

Each registered participant in the 5K Run or Walk will get an El Paso Chihuahuas Baseball Game Voucher with attached soft drink and free popcorn the day of attendance.

Southwest University Park

COURSE UPDATE: 5K Run/Fun Walk through downtown El Paso.
3.1 miles total, ending inside the Southwest University Park.

KIDS DASH: Starts at 9:30 AM inside Southwest University Park,
Home of the El Paso Chihuahua’s. Meet Chico!

CHIP TIMING: Guaranteed for all competitive runners who register in advance. The results are posted immediately after the race. Chip timing is not available for race day registration.

PARKING: Paid parking is available at city meters, Union Plaza Parking Terminal,
and the Convention Center Parking Garage. Additional parking might be available at the corner of Santa Fe and Prospect.

Nutritious snacks and water at the finish line.

Trophies to the top 3 Male and Female winners in the 5K Run, respectively.
Trophy to the Largest Team & the Most Spirited Team
10th year anniversary finisher medal to all 5k Run/Fun Walk registered participants in the 5K and Kids Dash Signature 
Medals to top 3 Male and Female winners in each 5K Run age group:
12 & under, 13 – 19, 20 – 29, 30 – 39, 40 – 49, 50 – 59, 60 – 69, 70 & over
