EL PASO, Texas (January 31, 2023) – El Paso Locomotive FC and FC Juárez announced today that tickets for the 2024 Derby Paso Del Norte are on sale now and available for purchase online at eplocomotivefc.com/tickets. The match is set to be held at El Paso’s Southwest University Park on Wednesday, March 20 at 7:30 p.m. MT.
The Derby Paso Del Norte is the culmination of efforts to recognize and celebrate the region’s unique history and culture shared by both teams.
This match marks the first public edition of the Derby Paso Del Norte. The sides have met on the field over the years (most recently in 2022 in Ciudad Juárez) in preseason friendlies played behind closed doors.
As the first open-door match between both clubs, the Derby Paso Del Norte will be transformative to the soccer fan experience in the Borderplex region.
With the potential to increase fan support for both clubs and expand market reach for each team on opposite sides of the border, the match will grow a local competitive rivalry for fans to enjoy while simultaneously strengthening strategic partnership efforts between each team’s respective technical staff.
